Cementless prosthesis
Metha® Short stem fixation
The cementless prosthesis stem is anchored metaphyseally within the
closed ring of the femoral neck.
Metha® preserves valuable muscle and bone structures and leads to a primary
loading stability.
Offers different offset and torsion variations
Modular cone adapters
The nine modular cone adapters offers different offset and torsion
variations following implantation of the stem.
The joint stability and range of motion can be optimal adjusted taking account
of the soft tissue tension and implant position.
Osteointegration
Plasmapore® µ-CaP Surface
For osteointegration Metha® is round coated with Plasmapore® µ-CaP.
In a special procedure, the proven micro porous Plasmapore® coating is given a
20 µm layer of µ CaP, a very pure calcium phosphate. This layer has an
osteoconductive effect and accelerates contact between the bone and the
prosthesis stem.
